November 5th 2020 update
Complying with the new government guidance, for the month of November we will be available for emergency and welfare grooming where the health and wellbeing of the dog of the dog is at stake only. Please contact us if you need an emergency appointment.
We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause, but it is important to us that we comply with UK regulations and guidance to keep both our staff and clients safe. The safety procedures below we already had in place will continue to be followed during any emergency appointments.
Our premises and equipment are cleaned regularly and our staff are all aware of hygiene and safety procedures and have completed Covid-19 grooming safety certificates.
We have updated our procedures to allow us to care for your dogs. We understand that some of you might find these measures inconvenient, but they are necessary for us to restart working while reducing possible risk to our staff and clients until more is known.
No clients will be allowed inside Barkdale Salon. You are requested to wait in your car until we telephone to bring your dog to the door where we will meet you. This is to avoid a groups of people outside.
We will be contacting all who have missed appointments. All appointments coming up that were booked before the confinement will be rescheduled to allow us to catch up on missed appointments. If we have not already contacted you to reschedule, then please contact us to verify before you come for your appointment.
We will only be accepting card payments – no cash please.
We will have 3 appointment times instead of the usual morning and afternoon to allow us to offer more appointments. Drop-offs and pick-ups will be staggered to avoid congestion.
Please do not bring your dog in if anyone in your household is showing signs of Covid-19 infection. Call us and we will reschedule your appointment.
